Donald A. Hunsberger
Mr. Hunsberger has been serving estate and business planning clients since 1980. These 30 years of experience have prepared him with the knowledge, expertise, relationships and resources to provide for your estate or business planning needs. Mr. Hunsberger has built a strong reputation for keeping clients out of the costly probate process through ethical, friendly and competent legal service. Estate and Business Planning are not one-time transactions; rather, they require long-term relationships between counsel and client.
Mr. Hunsberger is a trusted and recognized contributing member of our community. He has served as an advisor to the CHOC Foundation Charitable Giving Board, the WestMed Estate Design Center and the St. Joseph Foundation, has also been a board member for the Orange and Anaheim YMCAs and the president of both the Saint Thomas More Society (Catholic Lawyers Group) and the Orange County Friars.
Don has served on the editorial staff of Indiana Business Review, Indiana Law Review, Business Horizons, and the Journal of Society of Financial Professionals. He has also earned awards as a Boy Scout leader including the Silver Beaver Award, the Saint George Award and the Man of Character Award. He has published articles in the Journal of Financial Service Professionals, CLU Journal, Estate Planning Focus, Benefits Magazine, Broker World Magazine, Encyclopedia of Financial Gerontology, Barter News,Ad Veritatem Journal and In Orange.

Don lives in Orange with his wife Cathie. They have four children: Lauren, Ashley, Evan and Alec, and two grand-daughters.

Sarah Barb
Ms. Barb is a second generation attorney who has spent most of her life working with her father in estate planning and business law. She graduated with her B.A. in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College in 2006. Sarah attended Chapman University School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2009, specializing in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.
She was sworn into the California Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California in December of 2009.  Ms. Barb joined the firm in September of 2010 and is pleased to be a part of the extraordinary team working with Hunsberger Law.
Elaine Watrous
Mrs. Watrous has been with Hunsberger Law since 2007 as Administrative Assistant and manages our Probate and Trust Administration cases. She earned her Business Administration degree in 2005 with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance and has over 20 years of experience in small business management.Â
Elaine recently earned her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) candidacy through Chapman University and is currently pursuing her Professional Fiduciary License through Cal State Fullerton. As a member of the Institute for Management Accountants (IMA), Elaine adheres to a strict code of ethics and considers it a privilege to work closely and compassionately with our families in carrying out their loved ones wishes.
